best way to clean after siliconing sump?
^ just did my last leak test and it passed, so how should I go about cleaning this? hot water?

If it was a used tank, wash with bleach or hydrogen peroxide. If it's new, warm water will be fine.

Don't use any soaps and if it is a used glass tank it is smart to give it a rinse with some muriatic acid (1 part HCl to 3 water) to remove any phosphorus residue on the glass. You don't need to do that for acrylic as phosphate doesn't bond to plastic. Always allow the tank to completely air dry after using any cleaning substance, like bleach, to be sure it evaporates completely.

After I finish my sumps... I just give them a good rinse with tap water, then dry them out before hooking them up.
If it's a used tank, I would have cleaned it prior to installing the baffles by soaking it overnight with a little bit of bleach.
