Question GLO HO T5 48in to a 24in?

I have a 48in GLO HO T5, dual 54w each. Does any one know if I can run 4 24in 24w bulbs instead, will it be able to start them? Im hoping that the 108w ballast will support 4 24in 24w bulbs(96w). Hope my math is right, total rookie here. The lighting will be for a 29 gal tank, custom hood. I currently have a 175 14k M/H with small pc atinic bulbs, just looking for a little more light for sps, any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks for your time.

The ballast that comes with the GLO fixtures and retrofits is only compatible with the rated bulbs. The ballast circuit will not be able to light more than 2 bulbs properly.
