This is all in my build thread but I want a fast answer as I'm going to bed soon,

heres the situation,

Tank is cloudy, just put some live rock in,

2 hydor #3s, my return pump 700gph,

and no skimmer or anything just about 140gallons total water volume, if i throw a filter sock full of carbon on my drain pipe for the water to pass through, it should clear it right up corrected?

I have the kent marine activated carbon,,, thanks guys....

You don't need the carbon, just a filter sock

well carbon can help with other stuff
but yep your tank should clear up but if your tank is cloudy, might also settle on your rocks and when you blow it off, it'll just get cloudy again :P but it'll settle down either way :P
