show me your algae problem and how did you fix it (if you did)

I'd like to see everyone's algae issues and how you fixed them and if you didn't maybe someone who went through the same problem might have some input.

I fixed my algae problems by increasing my Mg to 1500, doing three days with no lights, adding a skimmer, skipping every other day on feeding, do weekly 30% WC's, adding a foxface, and pulling out as much as I could once a week.

Like pledosophy, increased Mg to 1500, lights out. Added a sea hare. All hair algae gone in short order, never to return (so far).
