PhosBan Reactor help

Will a phosban reactor starve plants in a tank. i have a 12g aquapod with a grape calupera problem. i have tried picking it out, scrubbing the rocks, everything but curing all the rock over again. the issue is that there are corals on the rock too. so i am hoping that the reactor will do it, unless anyone else has some ideas. Thanks!!!

If you eliminate most of the phosphate and nitrate from the water column, it should stave off calupera growth, though it would be very challenging to eliminate it entirely.

I have a phosban reactor as well and don't notice any negative effect on my corals/macro so far. It's been set up for about 4 months now ran via a "T" off my MaxiJet 1200. Not sure if the flow going through my reactor makes a difference.

The instructions on mine said that mild tumbling of the GFO was okay... but how mild is "mild tumbling?" Does mild mean barely moving or does it mean tumbling about 1/4"?

i would say like an 1/8 of an inch tumbling. it shouldnt be to much flow or ul pulverize the medium.
