Do moon lights contribute to algae growths?

I'm full of questions!

Mine run for a good long time

will they contribute to algae growths?

I have bad diatoms

Short answer no.

Lights in general will only contribute to algae growths if there are enough excess nutrients available.

+1..........My Moon lights run 24 / 7

If you over feed & add to the nutrients it can feed the algea. HOWEVER.....What is the timming of your lights

Your moons will have no affect on the algea growth.
