Megaflow and DSB questions
I recently purchased a 90 gallon aga tank with a megaflow overflow built in. I am going to be putting a jaubert plenum in this tank and I'm concerned about the sand bed covering the bottom water inlet of the megaflow. Should I seal it off with some plastic and silicone? Does anyone have any experience with DSB and megaflows?

I wouldnt worry about it, you won't have flow in those areas with it. I imagine it will fill up with sand in the bottom, but probably not worth sealing up those lowest inlets.

I foamed over one of these completely and left only the top slits exposed for water flow and it still worked just fine, you'd proably want to seal them to prevent sand from getting INTO your overflow.

I plan to bond in some acrylic higher than the DSB to allow the lower inlet to function and the area to be filtered.
