New Tank - Mirco Bubbles
Assuming all plumbing has no air infiltration, will mirco bubbles be reduced as slime coating builds up on inside on plumbing?
Yes/No, If yes how long will it take? Thanks |

Yes it will clear up if there is no air infiltration and the return pump isn't more powerful than the drain that feeds it. Even with a minor air leak slime buildup will sometimes solve the problem.
Could take up to a week though.

If the slime coat doesn't take care of it (patience is key.. as it is with most everything in this hobby).. you can try and make a bubble trap that will work. I know what you mean though.. my skimmer loves to send micro bubbles into the tank.. and they have finally reduced after a full month of operation

Agu,
The return pump is throttled back at the moment almost half way. The overflow should handle way more than what is being passed through. When I start the pump intially, I don't see bubbles. Only after water starts coming down returns into sump do the bubbles kick up. I have two drain and two returns in interior overflow box. All 1" |
