ASM Skimmer

i have a G3 and G4xx skimmers. does anyone know how i can improve them?
i heard about mash mud and to modify the output of the water pipe (the pipe with the sponge)

if someone know, please let me know.

Mesh mod will help, than add the gate valve.

you can make it a recirc, but that upgrade requires some drilling of the skimmer body.
