Salt water plecostamous?

I often take a scoop net down to the bay and catch crabs and small shrip and all kinds of other living things that are in the pods of sea grass. I have not done this in 6 months or so but the other day this fish came out of no where. He almost looks like a fresh water plecostomous. He hass little feeler type things around the top of his head and the bottom of his lip, he is definintely not a catfish. We have only seen him twice because he has a way of barrying himself in the sand. He is about 6 inches long and I have no clue what he is. Any ideas? I have tried to take a photo but he is too smart, he knows when I am going to get the camera and splits. Thanks.
