Where does brain coral fit in the LPS/SPS?
I was looking at getting started with some real corals. Just bought a new MH fixture for CHEAP... (2x150w @14k)
With my other lights it will bring my lighting up to 5.5 watts per gallon. I think maze brain coral is probably the coolest coral i have ever seen and I'd like to grow some and branch away from my zoas. How hard are they? Fish and tank friendly? |

Fairly easy coral...your lighting will be just fine...personally I would keep him closer to the bottom...I am running 2 175W MH on my 90G...and the Brains I have are doing best mid-bottom range of the tank.

Good to hear it's pretty easy.
Should I put it on the sand or on rock? |
