Why won't the LTA attach???

I am really getting tired of this. Just introduced this LTA. I know it is a sand anemone and I have dug a hole for it several times and it keeps coming out of the sand. I even closed it up in a tridacna shell and shoved the shell in the sand and it came out. It rolls on the tank bottom at night and has stung a softie. Tonight I got this cup, cut a hole in the bottom put the anemone in it and shoved it in the sand. Will it stay now? Why won't it attach to rock or sand. It looks great and healthy during the day but at night it is a stinging tumbleweed that the clown is rolling in my tank. Any ideas?

Another pic. The anemone is big enough to host the clown when it comes out fully. Ses the stalk

The LTA's like to find there own place. they will move around your tank until they can find a place that they like. mine wedged itself between sand and a rock and loves it there, but it also has 2 other spots that it was at for a few days.

How long has it been in your system?

Give it a chance and it will put its foot somewhere. Also make sure it has perfect water params!

Thanks, this is the 3rd day. Maybe it is the clarkii that won't leave it alone to settle.
