How Big of A Sump Do I need?
I just got a new 55 gallon tank... It's not drilled yet (plan on doing so this week when my overflow kit comes in), but how big of a sump do I need?

As big as you can handle and afford, but I would say something in the 20-30 gallon range would be fine.

Make sure you don't drill a tempered pane. Some 55g tanks are tempered on all panels, some aren't. I don't remember which manufacturer is which though.
+1 to what waterkeeper said... a 20g long would work well... 30g long even better.
