barnicles creep me out!

I have a few snails that i got in the mail with a bunch of them on there... i put them in my sump for now.. is there anyway they they could spread barnicles into the rest of the tank??? if so, i'm giving them away

i know they are harmless filter feeders but they are WAYYYYY to creepy

It is very unlikely that barnicles could reproduce in your tank. Their larva have a planktonic stage that means they well be sucked into your filter.
