Best Wire for T5 Retrofit kits?

What would be the best wire to use to wire up 8 T5's in an 120G canopy? I have a lowes close to me.. But am also willing to mail order if needed. What specific rating do I need?

Mine called for 18g awg solid not strands. I got mine from lowes.

The end caps (sockets) are compatible with solid 18 gauge wire. The wire must be 600 Volt rated or higher.
