hospital tank?
HI everyone. I have a long 20 gal tank I set up for emergencies. It has a Marineland bio roller filter, No sand , 2live rocks, no fish. Will this tank build up enough bacteria to support life for fish if my bigger tank gets ICH and i need to remove the fish for 30 days. Thanks ken

You'll still need to do regular water changes on the tank (sometimes up to 10% every 3-5 days), but you should be fine. It would also depend on exactly how many fish, and how big they are.

The amount of bio-load the tank is able to handle will be limited with the limited substrate, but in general that's all folks use for hospital tanks.
