Octopus Calcium Reactor Problems. Help?

I've had a new style CR-140 for about 6 months and still are unable to continuously make it work right. I have problems with it always getting clogged. I now have a needle valve on the inlet with an aqualifter pumping into the skimmer. What do you do to consistently make this work.

I also have problems lately with a "boiling" effect inside the reactor. I'm not sure what causes this but I'm sure it carbonation. How do I prevent this? the effluent is just past a drip but not a stream. the Ph is set at 6.5 but usually is around 6.7 until it clogs and then goes to around 6.5.

please help I'm tired of trying to make this work. Its very frustrating.

thanks
