Blue Hippo tang changing colors
So, has anyone ever seen their hippo tang change its black stripes to white and back?
Mine just changed to white and back to black several times, but doesn't seem to be acting aggressively, so I don't know why.

I agree... My Foxface Rabbitfish changes dramatically when stressed out. When is this happening? Around feeding time, or maybe it's being harassed by a new addition?

I would tend to agree as well, there's something affected it's behavior, and it's changing colors as a result.

I'll keep an eye on him though. Thanks!

Not black and white, mine turns yellow! (well, the black part turns yellow)
And then he acts berserk, but that seems to be his normal state Someone else mentioned a fox face changing as well. Mine will turn into this mottled black and gray creature while sleeping or hiding. |

Crazy! I knew some fish changed colors when they were sleeping, I've just never seen the blue tang do that, and it kind of weirded me out lol.
