hows this for a 20 gallon

im thinking about getting theses for my 20 gallon to start off with then move up to the nices skimmer when i get more into it.
visi-jet protein skimmer and a hot magnum canister filter 250. im not starting off with coral or any thing like that just a few fish 1 or 2. what you guys think.

I think it would be a waste of your money. In the long run, if you start off with the right equipment, even if you have to pay more up front, you save in the long term and will have a more successful, enjoyable experience.
