building tank between rooms any pictures?

i am going to build my tank inbetween my living room and family room. right now i have a wall inbetween but i was going to open up both rooms. how should i build the tank inbetween? should i keep the stand and canopy in 1 room and just have a half wall to view the tank from the other wall? any pictures?

has anyone done this yet?my sump is in my basement.

I put one above the kitchen sink, the opposite wall is our den. The tank is viewable from both sides. It would be nice for maintenance to be able to access the tank from either room, which our kitchen does not permit. Once every few months maintenance requires me to pull some rocks out in order to get to portions of the glass for cleaning. Other than that it's great.

We built the supports for the tank into the wall, using the studs for support for both the tank and lighting. I appear from the kitchen that the tank is flush with the kitchen wall, which adds a cool appearance. If I forget to post a pic tomorrow PM me
