Overflow critter guard?
Does any one know where I can purchase overflow guards?
I can't use the "home depot" gutter guards due to limited space. Unfortunately I do not have the tools to cut my own acrylic. If any one knows of any links where I can purchase by the foot it would really be appreciated. TIA, Fredy

i need to do something as well.
i found my clown swimming up and down in it, couldnt net it, had to flush it down to the sump in the basement!! today while doing a water change in the basement i found my diamond goby that i thought died. he/she made it into the overflow, down the drain on its own, into the 110 gallon main sump, up into the overflow that goes into the saddle tank sump. i put it back in the DT, him and the clown now stay on the opposite of the tank. |

You can get the plastic gutter guard at Home Depot, Lowes. Just cut to fit.

Blown 346,
Unfortunately I do not have enough room to accomodate the gutter guards (tried some left over from my diy refuge) the sit too high and raise my water leve too much. My overflows are made of solid glass w/o any slots up top to stop the wondering fish/shrimp. I was hoping some one knew of a source that would cut acrylic teeth/slots that I could just silicone on to the top edge of my overflows. The glass over flows are diy so I could surface skim. Fredy
