General skimmer question...

Hey guys,

I have a quick question about my skimmer. Just so you know, it's the CPR Aquafuge 2 with skimmer. If I open the venturi valve more, and let in more air, will I get a lot of water in my skimmate, and if I let in little air by closing the venturi valve more, will I get less water and a denser skimmate? Finally, how much under water do I want the collection cup to be?

Thanks!

that depends on whether you prefer a dryer or wetter skimmate
