bubbles

what are different causes of micro bubbles in a display tank, other than not enough water in the sump?

I'm kind of sumped at this point.

there could be several reasons, too much flow through sump, new plumbing that's less than a few weeks old, possible leak somewhere in the plumbing that's letting air in the lines, skimmer issues, I'm sure there are some that I've forgotten as well
