Any other suggested species of anything that can go with LionFish?

What can I put with a LionFish besides an eel?

anything that wont fit in his mouth and grows the same rate i have a 14" lion with a similar panther grouper and a white spotted grouper i have also had a large yellow tang with them as well but the grouper ate him guess he wasent big enough.

even lions will eat eels too so be careful

puffers and triggers are bad options since they will nip the fins

I would say anything that will not fit in the lions mouth. Bio load is a different story..

My LFS commonly keeps triggers with lionfish in their display tanks, the triggers are at least the size of the lion if not larger

Yes, larger or much larger fish qualify, but as mentioned, BIOLOAD becomes a problem.
So I was seeking one or two species with characteristics, bad taste, or defences, not just large in size.

Thank you Jim, for the link to Live Aquaria compatibility chart. The following are listed as Y=Compatible:
Angler/FrogFish (similar)
Boxfish/Cowfish*
Eels*
Foxface/Rabbit
Groupers* (mentioned, but likely due to size)
Puffers*
Sharks/Rays* (of course)
Tangs/OceanSurgeons*

The following are listed as C= Ok, but with caution:
Dwarf Angels
Anthias
Batfish
Butterfies*
Filefish*
Grunts*
Sweetlips
Hogfish*
Parrotfish*
Squirrelfish*
Triggerfish
Wrasse*

*We have in Bermuda, so am going for it. Here is the plan.

sm Eel, sm Lionfish, sm Hogfish, Med Blue Tang.
