Help me with my Quarantine Tank!
I am curious if there is a more simple way to start up and down a Quarantine tank. Can I just put my bio wheel in my sump and then pull it out and put it in the filter on the Quarantine tank and fill it 50% tank water, and then 50% new saltwater. Or is a air sponge better.

Skip the bio wheel. A filter that uses cartridges works better for this application. You take the filter pad media and put it in your sump. When you need to set up the qt you pull it out and use it for the filtration. Afterwards you toss it in the trash as not to possibly contaminate your reef.
