Sedra 5000 Mods?
What mods are worth doing with this pump?
Mesh mod? Drilling out the venturi hole? If anyone has done either of these mods, please share your experiences/impressions |

I have done both mods on my 3500 which is on an asm G2 skimmer and it made a fairly good difference. I recomend both mods. Just be careful drill ing out the venturi. Do it slow so you dont break it.

When drilling out the venturi I was just going to start with a smaller bit and then go up to the next size....is that how you did it?

Done both. Increased the amount of air very noticably.
