sump improvements or suggestions

Ok so a while ago i scored this huge six foot long sump from a LFS that was going out of business along with a couple of other great bargains! The reason for starting this thread is to ask if anyone can see anyroom for improvement with the sump as it is.
I want to get it perfect before i start my tank.

The basic outlay from left to right seems to be a refugim flowing down to where he had his heaters then the skimmer and return pump.

I know it will definatly need baffles between the skimmer and the return pump which i will get cut soon but any help and hints to make this sump work better are greatly appreciated! archie

dont worry about it. i got helpfull advice straight away on a different and seemingly friendlier forum.
