How long will NSW stay good for?
How long will NSW stay good for in a container?
I have a small tank and when I do a water change I always have left over water. I know I can just ask for less but can I keep it with out it going bad? If so, would I have to put an airstone or pump for circulation? |

I have kept NSW for a couple weeks. Yes you need a power head for circulation or it won't be good long.

Hi Mike,
The water will be good for months. If I remember Randy Holmes-Farley's comments correctly, you don't need circulation or an airstone. It will be fine just sitting there.
