Media Reactors

Hey all just have a quick question regarding media reactors.

I have a 34 gallon reef and have some Hair Algae cant figure out why as my parameters are good, but I was thinking of tryin a phosban reactor and the smallest one I can find is the 2 little fishes 150 thats good for up to 150 gallons.

Anyways my question is I dont need to run that much phosban on my little setup does it still work if you use only 30 grams in the reactor instead of 150 grams or should i just use 150 gram??

Also my concern was that it says if I use 150 grams it may bring down my alkalinity in such a small aquarium.

Thoro,

Start slow, if you have corals especially SPS it will drop your alk quickly. For your tank I would probably only use 30 - 50 grams to get started. You might look at bulk reef supply they have a medial reactor that IMO is lot better then the TLF reactor but make sure you have room for it because it is a lot bigger the TLF reactor.
