wet dry for a sump

hey guys i have a 150gallon fowlr tank with a wet dry that can use some updating first ? what size tank could i use for a sump i was thinking a 20gallon second?can i buy a sheet of fiberglass measure cut and add them as baffles and is there any special glue or silicone i have to use to put baffles in place third? i just want something simple can i just cut out 3 pieces for the left of the tank and put my skimmer in and on the right a whole baffle so the second chamber can be for the return and the third chamber for a small refugium fourth?in the refugium can i just put some sand and a couple pieces of live rock that i already have in my wet dry. thanks again and sorry for all the ?s

If you are building a sump will you be using glass or acrylic? I wouldn't use fiberglass in either case. If you are usinig an acrylic sump you can buy acrylic sheets at HD or Lowes.

If using glass, silicone is the only way to go. Don't forget to get an aquarium safe product.

Acrylic requires a special solvent to join clean straight edges. You can get the solvent, as well as acrylic sheets from Ridout Plastics. Ridoutplastics.com

You'll find alot of info if you search DIY sumps.
