2x300w heaters enough for a 180?
I just ordered 2 300w heaters for a 180gal tank with a 100 stock tank sump that'll be in the basement... The basement is not necessarily cold, but I now am not sure if this will be enough for heaters.
What does everyone else use? |

I use 2 x 300W with a 180, and a 75G sump, 65G fuge in the basement. I haven't had a problem with them keeping up.

Thanks Scott. At $50, if I need to add a larger heater (500w) to keep up, I guess that would be a relatively minor/cheap fix.
