Good return for a 125

First time setting up a tank with a sump and I'm looking for some advice on a return pump.

It's a 125 with dual corner overflows and I plan on keeping the plumbing as simple as possible and I'm not sure what the GPH on the overflows are rated for.

I'm looking for a good quality submersible pump - nothing pressure rated, but just a good old regular return - maybe something up the middle cost wise.

Thanks.

I have a 150g with a 30g sump I have a eheim compact 3000 that pumps the water 5ft back to the display no problem. It was only £60 roughly $120.

Im running a Mag 12 on my 125g. Your tank has 2, 1 inch drains. They will handle up to 1600 gph.

If you want you can use all 4 holes in the tank as drains, this way you can get close to 3,000 gph out of the tank. Just plumb the returns in a free standing manner over the top or sides of the tank.

I use a dolphin ampmaster pump on mine, I did not want a submerseable since a pump that large sitting directly in the water adds a bunch more heat to the system then having it outside the sump.

I've heard good things about the Eheim 1262, which is what I'm getting for my 110g.

Would the Ocean Runner 3500 (900 gph) work OK for a 125?

I like the fact that it produces almost half the amount of heat / wattage than say a Mag 1200.

On my 125 I have 2 corner over flows with 30gal sump. I have 2 Mag9.5 with SCWDs on each.
So the right half has a 9.5 w/ SCWD and the left has a 9.5 w/ SCWD

I know kind of off topic, but do you get any grinding noise from your SCWD? Any maintenance issues with it? It's something else I was considering.
