Talking Little Advise Please

I currently have a Fluval 304 and a Penguin 350 Bio wheel filter on my 75 gallon FOWLR set-up. I also have a Sea Clone 150 skimmer. Yesterday I purchased an Eshopps 75 CS complete wet/dry system hoping to get rid of some of the above mentioned items. Should I? Some people say to keep them all. A little confused, help or suggestions please. I also have 75 lbs of live rock and 80 lbs of live sand. Currently 3 fish and mushrooms with hopes of 3-4 more medium size fish. 260 watts of lighting. Help me out please!!

I'd advise getting rid of all but the skimmer. Boiballs, filters.... eventually become producers of nitrate. If you tank has already went through its nitrification cycle then you have to do this slowly, remove 1 filter at a time about week apart, and then start removing the bioballs 5 at a time (about 5 days apart). By doing this slowly it allows your LR and LS to take up the slack of the filtering and bioload that was being accomplished by your biowheel, balls and filters.
