Mysterious deaths crabs / zoo's

Maybe someone can help me understand.. In my 125g mixed reef tank, I just noticed the other day that a hitchhiker crab passed away.. Then two days ago I noticed that my one and only emerald crab had passed also.. I've had him for almost 8 months now.. I'm not sure what happened.. I have to do water tests but nothing in my tank looks off, or hurt. My Xenia is healthy as ever and the fish are happy and fat. Not sure what the deal is on that one.. The other question is

On my 29g biocube, I had a green zoo frag that only had 8 heads on it when i bought it back in the summer.. Then it bloomed over a couple of months then it started to die off, when it started to die off, I took it out of my 125gallon tank and put it into the biocube as sort of a hospital setting.. One by on the polyps disapeared every few days.. Now the frag has completely vanished.. I am suspecting some type of critter eating the zooanthid.. Any ideas?
Thank you for the time and effort
Chris

The crab deaths were in my 125.. were the green zoo's were until they started to die off.. a month ago i transfered the zoo's to the biocube. Hope that clears up any mis understanding.

Test those water parameters and post them.
