ProClear Aquatics HOB Skimmer

I got one of these early last year for free and I have been trying different pumps for it since it didnt have one and that is why I got it for free. I know it comes with the RIO 800 Rejuvinated Venturi pump but I was wondering if I could go with a Larger Rio pump since they make the rejuvinated Venturi adapters for the 1700 and up pumps now.

Well I got the Rio 800 Rejuvinated venturi pump and it is now pulling out nast stuff and it pretty much looks like black stuff in the cup.
