cyano stage...

As I remember abouty this time last March/April I fought a brown/cyano stage in my 90 that seemed to resolve itself with normal ongoing maint about the 6 month point in my 90.

My 175 is about 4 months old and cyano has been my friend for the last month. I syphon it out and it's back in force the next day. All my corals--sps, lps have deep color and continue to grow rapidly. All my fish are fat and happy.

All my parameters are right on as well

Is it normal to go through this stage with new a new tank?

Marc Weiss Algae magic sped this process in the other tank. I have started it in this one but it takes a good month to see results.
