Tank set-up?

Hello, this is my first post on RC and I would first off like to say how amazing this site is…It has been a great help!

After having Fresh water tanks my whole life I am finally in the process of buying all the equipment for my first salt water tank. It is a 37 gallon (30x12x23) tank. I am going to start off with just live rock, live sand, and fish. After I have that under control I am planning on adding both hard and soft corals. I was wondering if I could have anyone’s experienced opinion on whether the equipment I am considering is the best for me and if not what you would recommend.

For my protein skimmer I am thinking about an Aqua C Remora, CPR BakPak, or a Tunze DOC 9005.

For my power heads I am thinking about the Hydor Koralia 2 or 3 or maxijets with a power strip multi-cycle pump timer or should I just spend the money on a wavemaker?

For my heater either a Hydor THEO 150w or a Eheim-JAGER 150w

Now for my main reason for posting what would you recommend for my lighting? I am having problems finding lighting good enough for my tank that at some point will have hard corals and is 30 inches in length. I was thinking about the CurrentUSA’s 30" SunDial T5HO 4x24watt T5HO 10K/460 w/integrated timers?

Also any other equipment I might be forgetting.

Any input on any of my decisions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

On the skimmer, I have a Aqua C, it works great but it is noisy. I don't mind the noise much, but my wife does. I am going to buy a Tunze DOC 9005 this week, they are much quieter (but much more money also).

30" is an odd size and will limit your lighting options. How committed are you to the tank? I would switch to 36" or better yet 48" long tank if size/$ permitts.
