400w radium bulb with coralvue dimmable ballast

I have the coralvue 400w dimmable ballast with 12k reeflux bulbs, when I turn the ballast all the way down it's a nice blue, but I won't that same blue with the ballast turned up for the par, so I got the radiums put them in and there white,it's been about 20 min there starting to get blue, will they get bluer as they burn in. Thanks

Well after a 100hr burn if these radiums don't get some blue in them, there not a blue bulb. They have the same color blue as the 12k reeflux but the reeflux has way more blue in them then the radiums.I might have to run some t5s or vhos and turn the reeflux all the way up.

Really!? What kind of reflector? I have the same bulb/ballast combo with lumenbright pendants and love the color. I do run VHO actinic with them, but even with the actinic off they are a nice blue.

What setting on the ballast do you have them on. I run mine right before it clicks over to the overdrive. If you have the ballast all the way up, its basically like running a HQI ballast that will overdrive the bulb and make it burn crisp white.

Mine are only about 2 weeks old, but definitely more blue than the reeflux 12ks I was running. I even tried the 20k reeflux and that was a waste of money. Maybe you need some actinics?
