Arrow Head Crab vs Anemone
My Arrow head crab picks at my LPS corals and my anemones bottom. I am not sure what to do with him. I feed him and i have seen him catch bristle worms at night but he seems to want to also pick at things i dont want him to pick at.
any advise?????

Sell it. They aren't really reef safe, and since it is already picking, I wouldn't expect it to stop.
Also, bristle worms are good to have.

I have seen small and large bristle worm more than once pick at my healthy growing corals that are doing great so I dont think they are so good. I thought arrow head crabs were reef safe. Ive kept one before with no problems but he died after 2 months. The lfs told me they will exchange for another arrow head crab but now im a bit worried because you say the arent so safe but i read all over the place that they are. what not reef safe about them??? I think they are cool and help me control bristles.

they can be very aggressive and like the OP stated they can pick on coral, most sites say "reef safe with caution" but I too have had a bad experience with one. There are better CUC's out there..
