what eats sponges
is there any reef safe fish or crabs that will feed on yellow sponges they are taking over my rock .

There are sponge eating nudi-branchs. They are actually quite pretty but with out certain types of sponges they will die. Large angels will supposidly eat sponges. Melevs site also reports a lawnmower blenny eating at a sponge. I dont know about the angels but my lawnmower blenny didnt eat sponges.

I just bought a Foxface Rabbitfish to eat the sponges and algae. My LFS said it would eat more than a Copperband Butterfly would. I hope that was right. I will be tagging along.
