T5 actinic retrofit problems
i recently did away with my compact flourescent actinics and installed T5 actinics with a retrofit identical to the setup shown here. http://www.reefgeek.com/reefgeek/725...etrofit_ho.jpg Pretty easy setup as you can see and hard to go wrong if you just match the colors up. After a week of use, both the bulbs don't come on one day and i have no idea why. no buzzing from the ballast like my halide ballast sometimes does where you just have to mess with it and itll come back on. nothing at all, seems as if the ballast just died. anybody heard of anything like this? any ideas or things to double check?

Have you checked the position of the bulb end in the socket ? If you didn't have them twisted correctly they may have come loose. I have the same setup and it was difficult to get them right.

I'm with ReefingMadness, check the bulbs. Also check the wires going to your end caps. If it is the ballast. Go get yourself a Icecap
