When emptying the skimmate from the skimmer should you just rinse inside the collection cup with a little bit of water or really clean the whole removable cup including the tube the skimmate climbs up.
I have heard that the skimmate residue on the inside of the cone helps it climb up your skimmer, but also heard the exact opposte. So what should I do?! |

I clean the entire cup inside and out. I have found that I get more gunk when I have a clean neck.

i clean mine with a rag and warm water, just make sure not to get the oil from your hands on the inside of the neck, it will cause you skimmer to go nuts. i found out the hard way.
