Euro Reef?

I was looking into buying a Euro reef skimmer, because they were in many old ads for aquarium companies selling them. Now it seems that all of the companies with those ads no longer carry them. Is there a reason for this?

To the best of my knowledge E.R. is still in business, and still make a great product.

I have the RS-80 on my 65g and it works very well.

I have heard some of the older euro dealers are not pleased with Euro's being to cheap/available online

With some of the newer companies producing great skimmers at killer prices, not a surprise that some companies are dropping the line. I like my EuroReef, but if I were in the market these days I imagine I'd have an MSX brand unit.

I love my euroreef 8-2, but would I buy one new? Hell no. I couldn't afford it. I bough mine used a few years ago for a decent deal, and it's served me well since then. I think that for a lot less money you can find an equally good skimmer these days with all the imported skimmers and stuff. They are great skimmers still to this day, just to lay that down.
