Live aquaria is a great source for livestock but is a terrible source for info retarding tank size. A 70 gallon tank is way too small for a full grown anularis angel . They get about 15-16 inches long. I don't know why they are reporting that they only get 1 foot because I have seen them much larger than this. I wouldn't put one in anything smaller than about 180 gallons.
Overall, I think they are up there for one of the hardiest of the larger angels. I never had any problems with them coming in healthy working in the fish trade. They adapt very well to captivity.
