Only if your water pressure isn't adequate.

Dude I bought mine @ purewaterclub.com

It came like 2 days after I ordered it, and was a nice unit.

I got one with 3 DI units as I will be on some harsh well water next month. But for $90 flat to my door I was pumped. There are better but my PPM meter says its doing a great job.

Just got my unit from Air Water Ice. I couldn't be happier. Check them out in the sponsor forums. They have a $25 dollar off coupon.

Those tanks - the ones that look similar to the propane tank on your grill - are for the storage of RO water (not DI water). You'll typically find them on systems that are configured to provide drinking water to a faucet.

Whether you have one of these pressurized storage tanks or not really doesn't have anything to do with how much pressure you are delivering to the system.
