can this pump be used in saltwater
I got the following pump from a guy... He used it to pump ro water.. I was wondering if it is safe to use in saltwater?

I would think so given that it's plastic and can work in some harsh conditions. See if you can find out if there are some corrosive screws though.

Why would you? It says it moves 300gph. A MaxiJet 1200 costs ~$20-$25 and moves 295gph.

It uses .8 amps. That is 80 watts of electricity. A MJ1200 uses 20w.
I try to avoid anything I doubt, personally. |
