Type of ALge for Fuge
I just built my fuge and now im trying to figure out what i should put in there. Cheato is pretty much the only thing I know. What else would you guys recommend for pods and what not. I want something that is gonna keep my levels down but also have pods and worms and what not.

Chaeto is by far the easiest IMO. You'll have a good amount of pods and such that inhabit it.

I have tried to put both ulva and red gracilaria in the fuge along with chaeto and the chaeto outcompetes them both.
There are plenty of worms in chaeto, and pods as well -- they live on the bacteria and detritus that gets into the chaeto. If you have a bunch of chaeto then that will help support any mandarins you might have. |
