water tests

I have a new light and it makes getting in the top of my tank difficult as it sits on the tank.
Can I do my water tests from the sump or is it better to do it from the display.

you have to wait till the water from the display makes it's way to the sump then you can test it ...The water in the sump is the same water in the tank you can test it where ever you want.
