Jalli jt 1000 heather wont heat anymore?

what could be wrong with it

my tempeture of the water in my tank is 73 when i set the heater to 80 nothing happens, both lights on the indicator show that the heater is working on the dial , but when i record the tempeture its the same

i cant believe this heater has already dudded out , i paid like $50 for it
