In Need of Dry/Dead Sand- suggestions please
Hi All, I am in need of additional sand for my reef. I think I want to go with dead or dry rather than live sand as I don't want to cause a mini cycle. Is there a preferred brand and where can it be found? I will need something that matches or closely resembles my existing Carib Sea live sand and it need to be burrower and snail safe. All in all I really only need to add about 15 lbs.
Now, once I get the sand should this all be added at once or over time? I intend to use the pvc tube/funnel trick. Thanks all. Dave

At petco and/or petsmart they sell the caribsea non-live sand, or you can have your LFS order it.
